GET INVOLVED
Please visit Sound Transit's official West Seattle Link Extension page to provide feedback before the April 2nd deadline!
There are many ways to get involved with the East Alaska Junction Neighborhood Group:
Join the "East Alaska Junction Neighborhood Forum" to participate in online discussions with other East Junction residents. This forum was created as a place for discussions related to the Link Light Rail extension into the West Seattle Junction, with a focus on the impacts to neighborhoods east of California. This is the groups primary means of communication and a place to offer comments, organize meetings, and get active with fellow Junction residents.
This section of the website contains the contact information for the many government officials and community representatives who have been appointed to represent your voice in planning for new light rail. Reach out and tell them how they can better serve you and the community by advocating for well-planned light rail in West Seattle.
Familiarize yourself with the official documents released by Sound Transit. We have compiled a collection of materials relevant to the Light Rail extension into West Seattle and the Junction. Check back frequently as these documents will be updated as the project evolves.
Review documentation created by members of the neighborhood group. This is where you will find maps, diagrams, and letters created by members of the community to help clarify ideas and give voice to neighborhood concerns.
